Fifty (50) years of service to our valued customers

Kent B. Monsen and Richard F. North joined forces to start the North-Monsen Company in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1956.

After several years of working out of the Salt Lake City office, Kent Monsen began traveling to Colorado. After fourteen years of travel to Colorado, it was determined that it would be helpful to have a full-time employee calling on customers in this territory. Dave Perrine and later Joe Kuzyk worked in Denver for the North-Monsen Company.

In 1975 Kent Monsen purchased the shares of ownership in North-Monsen Company that Dick North had owned. In 1984 Thomas E. Brown began employment with the North-Monsen Company in an office at 601 Broadway in Denver, CO. The arrangement made with Tom Brown stipulated that in three years a separate corporation was to be incorporated in the state of Colorado with Tom having 50% ownership of the company. The North-Monsen Company of Colorado was incorporated in Colorado in 1986.

The Colorado Corporation moved to Littleton in 1988 and maintains an office at 1500 West Canal Court, Littleton, CO. 

On June 1, 2005, Thomas E. Brown purchased the North-Monsen Company of Colorado, Inc. from Kent B. Monsen and Mark S. Monsen.
